Across the globe, new media is transforming the way we learn, talk, work and relate. Learners of the future need to master the basics of many new digital languages. KindemediaTM helps children gain fluency in important digital literacies to build essential lifelong learning dispositions and values for a child's holistic growth.

With children encountering media choices at younger ages, it is important to nurture values and dispositions that can guide early media consumption. Digital modes of communication, or what we call Digital Languages, have also grown in their ease of use and general application. Kindemedia's holistic approach reaches beyond technology skills to develop creative and responsible digital explorers excited with learning.

As a new media curriculum centered on 21st Century Skills, Kindemedia's Digital LanguagesTM Program (DLP) spans 4 Digital Language Groups and emphasizes media creation for particular language strands such as 'audio ringtones'. Each customized program runs for an hour a week over 8 weeks and reinforces the critical vocabulary and skills to allow independent exploration and production of digital media.
